"More Jesus"

It is amazing the lessons that our children can teach us as they just go about the business of being little.  Today, as I was putting my favorite 2 year old down for her nap, we were looking at her new Toddler Bible that she got for her birthday.  She pointed at the big picture on the last page and I told her it was Jesus.  For the next 10 minutes she kept going through the Bible looking for all the pictures of Jesus.  She was saying in her cute little voice "more Jesus" and "I wan' find Jesus".  I'm thinking to myself during this precious moment how profound and how simple this all was.  Wouldn't our lives be so much better if we would just focus on finding Jesus, and wanting more Jesus?  How awesome that it was revealed to this tiny girl how special and how important He is to us.  I hope and pray that her life will be lived looking for Jesus and what His purpose for her life is.

Why am I on Polyvore at 11:32 in the p.m.?  I don't know but if I were out on the town and I had lots and lots of disposable income this is what I would be wearing.  Also, I would have to have an assistant to help me walk but HOW AMAZING are those BOOTIES???  When I have more energy for more important things, I swear I am going to write about and post pictures of my sweet girls' 2nd birthday party!  Goodnight for now!

Too Much Time On My Hands!

Polyvore.  My newest addiction!  My neck hurts and my back is sore.  There seems to be a magnent that goes from me to my computer and leads me to all of these fun websites!  This is what happens when you cannot find a good book to read.  Because of the energy it takes to hang with a 2 year old all day, I feel the need to do nothing productive in the evenings and this is what it has led to!  Maybe it's a phase???  Anyway, Polyvore.com  Check it out if you love clothes.  It's like when you were a little girl and you had those paper dolls and different clothes that you could mix and match and make outfits on her.  It's like that, but on STEROIDS!  Have fun!

World of Technology

Oh my goodness!!!  Why is this world of technology so foriegn to me?  Is there some reason that things cannot just be simple and easy to figure out?  I think that part of my problem is that I have no patience so if anything takes time or I don't understand it immediatley, well, that's it, I'm done.  This is also the how I feel about golf by the way. 

I was trying to change my blog layout and make it all cute and fancy.  I did exactly what the directions told me to do and...... NOTHING!  As you can see, my layout is not all cute and fancy, it is exactly what it was before.  I need a friend to come show me how to do all this.  Anyone? Anyone?  Like I said I certainly do not have the patience to figure it out on my own!

Okay, so good things about the world of technology..... PINTEREST!  Pinterest has recently taken over my life.  In fact this post was going to be entitled "Dear Pinterest" until I got mad at whoever is keeping me from making my blog all cute and fancy.  When I was introduced to Pinterest ( thank you Lindsey) I told my husband in a voice full of awe, "this is going to change my life"!  While this might be a bit dramatic, it has proved to be somewhat true.  I have found some great recipies (one of which I have used) and found some fun activities for Stella.  We have already used 2 of those!  The rest are ideas I am storing up for future use.  If I ever figure out how to use this #$%&@ blog properly, I will share some of them with you.

I'm New

So I went to a business education class yesterday with some of the girls from my salon.  One of the things that the woman who was teaching the class said was to picture each new client with a black t shirt on that says in big white letters..... "I'm New, Please Keep Me, Cause I'm Tired Of Looking, I'm Scared."  Well, I am not sure that any of the others apply, except maybe "I'm Scared", but I am new and I am just going to dive in to this wonderful world that you all call blogging.  I have not even read any more than three blogs.  Two of them kept by wonderful creative clients of mine and one kept by a great friend/neighbor/fellow mom of mine.  Anyway, I just want a way to preserve this life of mine that is flying by and well to be honest, my hand starts to hurt after writing for 5 minutes so I figured that blogging was a great way to do this and to be able to add pictures and to share a little bit too!  Wish me luck!
